Play and the Gift of God's Delight

Think about it: from God’s wild imagination in Creation, to Jesus’ first miracle at a party, the Bible shows us a God who just loves to have a good time. When we play, we are mirroring God’s creativity, experiencing grace instead of worrying, showing the world around us that joy is stronger than fear.

Play, doesn't just mean “kids being silly” or “escaping responsibility.” Play is joy without an agenda—a chosen space where we receive joy rather than earn it. It can be simple: laughing with a friend, gardening, coloring, a board game, dancing in the kitchen. Listen to what Pastor Sue had to say about Play.
